Why should I choose 2IC for my accounting & management needs?
2IC Management provides a team to solve your problems! Whether it be negotiating a multi million dollar deal or how to cope with day to day bookkeeping we have one or more team members to take care of the hassles and let you get on with business.

How much will it cost? Every time I call my accountant it costs $200!

Obviously there is no precise answer to how much it will cost - every job for every client has different needs and benefits that can flow.

Unlike most accountants, but in line with the majority of other businesses, we believe in charging fees based on the benefits that flow to our clients.

Our clients don't buy hours, our clients buy outcomes that have benefits to them.
We reverse the risk on fees

For every project we are willing to commit to a Fixed Price Agreement (FPA), even compliance matters. Refer to our schedule of "Services" for more details on FPA's. Our silver, gold and platinum packages all include incidental phone calls as part of the FPA.

I gave my taxwork to my accountant in July and I received the returns for signing with a tax bill to pay in March. How long does 2IC take?
Our goal is to turn around compliance jobs inside 2 calendar months. At times supply of information from outside sources can cause delays beyond both yours and our control. However, for most of our clients this is not a major concern

Because:
Interim reviews enable tax projections to be made well before 30th June. This enables clients to

  • Undertake legitimate tax planning pre 30th June
  • Not have any rude shocks with unexpected tax bills
  • Treat the tax return process as merely a paperwork compliance issue rather than a business planning issue

Phone calls: How quickly do you return calls? He's always in a meeting - but I'm sure he just doesn't want to talk to me!
2IC guarantee to return calls within 24 hours but will use every endeavor to call back the same day.

You will also notice we don't screen calls. We have noticed when we call other organisations the frustration of someone being busy - after the receptionist has asked your name.

At 2IC if we are not genuinely with some one or out of the office your call will go through. If you choose not to give your name you can always be sure we are genuinely unavailable and not just trying to avoid you.

My accountant doesn't give me enough advice, we miss out on opportunities. How often does 2IC contact us? Do we call you or you us?
Our clients are dealing with us on a regular basis and therefore we are more likely to bring to their attention the latest in business, tax or financial ideas and developments

Also, as we are intimately aware of our clients business and their unique circumstances we are more likely to think of them when specific developments arise that will affect them.

No small business operator who sees their accountant once a year can expect their accountant to think of them when a new development arises or indeed know enough about their business to realise it may affect them.

In more general terms 2IC has a regular "Newsletter" which keeps clients educated with regard to best business practices. In addition we circularise all clients regarding global issues which affect our client base and where appropriate also circularise sectors of our client base.
